Didi gained his Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) degree from the Sriwijaya University, Indonesia, in 2006. He has 12 years experience in the mining industry, ranging from various site based mining engineering, through to planning superintendent for the last four years. He has undertaken design, drill and blast, and mine planning works for truck and shovel operations in both short term and long term time frames.
